I made this website for fun really. So I'm not too fussed what you think! It's good to be able to publish stuff without asking anyone. Also, I was keen to promote bushwalking in the Huon, because it's often underrated, and perhaps overshadowed by some of the more famous places in Tasmania.
The Huon is sometimes seen as the "end" of the South Coast walk, or somewhere you have to drive through to get to the start of the quick route to Federation Peak. It's much more than that! Hope you enjoy something about the site anyway.
I live in Huonville, and work for the government in Hobart. I'm married to Janet and we have three sons.
They like walking as long as they're in the mood, and you feed them lots of chocolate. They've all been on many of these walks, but I carried the kids on some. They're far too big for that now. (I'm now hoping Isaac will carry me somewhere.) I'm also keen on photography, and will be trying to put some more photos into this website.
The site's been made in FrontPage and Notepad, but I just keep it in my own little webspace on Netspace for now, so I have to steer clear of some fancy stuff. The html should be quite clean, and uses CSS for almost all formatting. There are some formatting tags still in pages from a former version of the site.
